Penrallt Coastal Campsite
Llyn Peninsula, North Wales
Welcome To Penrallt Coastal Campsite
About Us
Penrallt Coastal Campsite is set in a quiet and peaceful location, occupying a slightly
elevated position, boasting magnificent views along the west coastline of the Llyn
Peninsula; with Porth Colman to the south, and Morfa Nefyn to the north.
In 1956, a large part of the Llyn Peninsula was designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty under the National Parks and Access to the Countryside Act 1949.
Penrallt Coastal Campsite is slightly 'off the beaten track', being down a private lane, with fields running down to the sea.
There is direct access to the coastal path and sandy beaches. The small harbour of Porth Ysgaden (where small boats can be launched) is only 5 minutes away by car.
The local village of Tudweiliog has an excellent Public House serving good food and
ales, there is also a Post Office and shop.
Penrallt Coastal Campsite has been awarded Green Dragon Environmental Accreditation from the Welsh Assembly Government for our commitment to Environmental Sustainability.
MCS / KWT Annual Beach Survey -
The 2009 Marine Conservation Society / Keep Wales Tidy annual beach survey was a great success.
Marine litter was collected and surveyed for 10km of the Northern Coastline of the Lleyn peninsula; from Cwmistir in the North to Dinas Fawr (porth Oer) in the south.
£1000 in total was donated to the Marine Conservation Society, Air Ambulance and Keep Wales Tidy charities.
Diolch Yn Fawr (thank you) to everyone!
